Billionaire Battleships

Wars don't end when people stop dying, they end when the money stops flowing. And for the billionaires profiting from conflict, through arms manufacturing, private contracting and defence investment, there's rarely much incentive for that to happen.

The working class fights and dies on both sides of the line, for governments and interests that have almost nothing in common with the people they send into battle. The soldier and the civilian facing each other across a conflict have more in common with each other than either of them has with the people pulling the strings.

So why are we killing each other? Billionaire Battleships replaces the traditional naval fleet with the expensive toys of the people who actually profit from war. Now, those are the things you can sink. On the same battlefield with the same rules, but finally with aggression pointed in the right direction.

The pieces are open-source and 3D printable, designed to drop into any standard Battleship set.
